Composition task 2

By bringing to mind what you have already learnt about musical elements such as dynamics, texture, tempo, articulation and their contribution to the finished product, compose THREE introductions of around 8 bars that would suit the following titles. You should choose your instruments carefully taking into consideration their timbre or colour. This should be your priority in this exercise and the three pieces could include a solo instrument or an ensemble:

1. Daybreak (dawn at Ynys Enlli or Bardsey Island)
2. To Battle! (Owain Glyndŵr prepares to conquer his enemies)
3. The Ruin (an old crumbling building on the Coastal Path)
